Thigpen Family,

Throughout the years, we have been scattered like seeds blowing in the wind. Our family is like  a giant puzzle and the pieces have been separated. It is time to try to put the pieces  together
 as best we can. I am in the process of tracing our family’s roots. I would like your help. I  think
 it is important for us to know more about our ancestors. In doing this I believe it would bring  us
 closer to a family, and have something to pass on to our children and grandchildren. I do not  think
 this will be an easy process, but with each one putting a few pieces in the puzzle, perhaps we  can
 at least get some semblance of a picture. Please start with yourselves, and your immediate  family,
 and go back as far as you can! Your father, grandfather, mother, grandmother etc. If you are descendants of anyone named, please add your information.

Please, please, add any information that you have so that we can begin to better connect our  family. Thank you for your participation and cooperation. A lot of the older generation is  gone. We really need to get going on this family. The older family members that are still with  us
 have a wealth of information to share, so please contact whoever you can so we can learn about  our heritage.
